Finishing |
|
Tai-Ao is able to offer a wide range of
finishes for its extruded parts. Finishing involves coating
or polishing the surface of the extruded parts, which,
though not necessary for strictly functional reasons,
is called for in most consumer or architectural applications
to give the aluminum a desired appearance. The most common
treatments are anodizing, polishing, Brite-dipping and
coating. The type of finish selected depends on the desired
appearance, with the thickness of application determining
the durability (useful life).

In addition to our extrusion capabilities
IEC provides a vast selection of in-house surface
finishes to accommodate most finishing requirements.
Finish options include anodizing, painting and alodining
through our modernized anodizing and paint operation
lines. Anodizing options include clear and architectural
anodizing. Anodizing  provides
an impervious finish to resist the harshest of elements
either on interior or exterior applications.
Painted surfaces are available in a vast range of
colors and also feature our computerized color-matching
equipment to assist in matching custom colors. IEC
can paint a variety of extrusion lengths up to 24'
in our Texas facility and up to 25' in our California
facility. Utilizing the highest quality paints,
IEC insures long lasting durable finishes for both
exterior and interior uses. Whether standard color
or custom colors, IEC will provide the finish to
meet your requirements.
